Little softies - teddy and snail

Now I'm busy preparing for fairs, sewing for the Friday Country Market and trying to stock my Etsy shop. Not bored at all!
So I'm trying to make a few items that won't cost an awful lot and make nice pressies from a day out :)
So now I'm sewing, cutting out and stuffing snails and teddies!
I love the fabric of her shell. So romantic!
He is so soft, and love the fabric. It's an old one, I used to have a set of bed linen from the same :)

Bunny girls and my new Etsy shop

Finally I took the big step and registered on Etsy and opened a new shiny shop. And what else could be my first listings than a few bunnies? :D
They all have the same style dress but in different colours. I like the blue one the most. Who is your favourite?

She was actually gone within half an hour of the opening of the shop! :)

Isn't she cute? She can't wait to find a new home.
Go and have a look at the shop and if you like it spread the word! ;)

And even more bunnies...

I still have a few more pics of the bunnies I made for the fair. Some of them are still available to buy ;)
This pink one with jeans made of an upcycled pair of jeans is just adorable. She is gone to a little girl since :) She was my favourite :)
 A very girly pink bunny.

 And another girly one!
This grey one is ready to put on her wellies and do some work in the garden.

Two buddies in green

These two little cheerful fellas can't wait to find a new home!
They wear a cosy fleece jumper to keep them warm.
With something orange to keep them happy and smiling :)

A heart or a flower? Which one do like the most?

Lucy Bigfoot the huggable bunny girl

Easter is nearly here so the bunnies are popping up everywhere! Look who turned up in our cottage!

She choose a lovely floral dress from her ardrobe with lace trimming.

Her brown button eyes are always filled with mischief and she is looking for a little girl to play with!
Her arms, legs and ears are attached with buttons so she can move them all.
Isn't she cute? ;)

St. Patrick's Day hairbands

St. Patrick's Day is nearly here with all parades and celebrations! Little girls (and big ones too ;) ) can be very wearing this lovely hairband with a shamrock. Made of polka dot/ small print flower or re-used denim fabric it is very stylish.

I made a few in my little girls' sizes and they loved them :)

Which one is your favourite? Polka dot, flowers or denim?

GAA headband

Today my little girl's school are sporting the local GAA club's colours to celebrate their success. So I quickly made her a headband in their colours last night :)

Isn't she stylish? :D

5 minute draught excluder

There was terrible draught coming in under the front door in our cottage. Especially now, that is so windy. So I quickly cut up some old thorn jeans stitched on some fabric scraps to put colour on it, sew it closed and stuffed it.

It took only a few minutes and now the little cottage is warmer :)

Birthday quilt

When my little one's birthday was approaching I was trying to come up with some ideas what would be the best present. She has a lot of toys. Enough dolls. I can make only summer clothes but summer is pretty much non-existent here. And then the idea came - a quilt! She loves all sort of blankets to play or to snuggle up.
So  I made a colourful patchwork quilt for her, my first ever patchwork attempt.

There are plenty of little details on it to keep her attention :)

And while it's not perfect she is very happy with it!

Hootie library tote

A lovely little tote with flowery fabric on the inside, stripes outside - and a felt appliqued owl. He will keep your books safe on the way to the library!

Hoo-hoo! :)
